Configuring Index Pages in NoUI Theme

Index (Homepage) Page, Archive Page, Search Page, Label Page, and Error Page configuration in the NoUI Theme.

Index Pages (Multiple Items) is a listing page or a list of posts consisting of an Index Page (Homepage), Archive Page, Search Page, Label Page and Error Page.

Elements on the Index Page also vary; consists of Post Label or Category, Post Title, Post Author Name, Post Published and Updated Date, Post Share, Post Summary, Post Image/Thumbnail, etc.

You can customize it and adjust the elements to be displayed on the Index Pages easily.

Options for Index Pages

There are several Options for the Index Pages that can be customized, namely:

Index Layout

This setting is useful for setting the Layout on the Index page. Here are some steps to customize and some explanations:

  1. Go to Blogger Dashboard and select the Theme menu.
  2. Click the CUSTOMIZE button.
  3. Click Advanced Dropdown, click Default Options Dropdown and Select Index Options.
  4. Look for the Slider setting named Index Layout (Column | Column Reverse | Row | Row Reverse), drag the slider right or left. Here is the explanation:
    • 1px: Column - The layout will be columns (from top to bottom).
    • 2px: Column Reverse - The layout will be in reverse columns (bottom to top)
    • 3px: Row - The layout will be in rows (from left to right)
    • 4px: Row Reverse - The layout will be in reverse rows (from right to left)
  5. Click the Save button (diskette icon) in the lower right corner.

Index Post Layout

This setting is useful for changing the Layout and Style for the Post List. Here are some steps to customize and some explanations:

  1. Go to Blogger Dashboard and select the Theme menu.
  2. Click the CUSTOMIZE button.
  3. Click Advanced Dropdown, click Default Options Dropdown and Select Index Options.
  4. Look for the Slider setting named Index Post Layout (List | Grid), drag the slider right or left. Here is the explanation:
    • 1px: List - Post items with a list layout.
    • 2px: Grid - Post items with a grid layout.
  5. Click the Save button (diskette icon) in the lower right corner.

Index Thumbnail

This setting is useful for enabling or disabling Thumbnails on the Index page. Here are some steps to customize and some explanations:

  1. Go to Blogger Dashboard and select the Theme menu.
  2. Click the CUSTOMIZE button.
  3. Click Advanced Dropdown, click Default Options Dropdown and Select Index Options.
  4. Look for the Slider setting named Index Thumbnail (Disable | Enable), drag the slider right or left. Here is the explanation:
    • 1px: Disable - Index Post thumbnail will be disabled or hidden.
    • 2px: Enable - Index Post thumbnail will be enabled or displayed.
  5. Click the Save button (diskette icon) in the lower right corner.

Index Label

This setting is useful to enable or disable Label on Index page. Here are some steps to customize and some explanations:

  1. Go to Blogger Dashboard and select the Theme menu.
  2. Click the CUSTOMIZE button.
  3. Click Advanced Dropdown, click Default Options Dropdown and Select Index Options.
  4. Look for the Slider setting named Index Label (Disable | Enable), drag the slider right or left. Here is the explanation:
    • 1px: Disable - Index Post Label will be disabled or hidden.
    • 2px: Enable - Index Post Label will be enabled or displayed.

Index Updated Timestamp

This setting is useful to enable or disable the Update Date Timestamp on the Index page. Here are some steps to customize and some explanations:

  1. Go to Blogger Dashboard and select the Theme menu.
  2. Click the CUSTOMIZE button.
  3. Click Advanced Dropdown, click Default Options Dropdown and Select Index Options.
  4. Look for the Slider setting named Index Updated Timestamp (Disable | Enable), drag the slider right or left. Here is the explanation:
    • 1px: Disable - Index Post Update Date Timestamp will be disabled or hidden.
    • 2px: Enable - Index Post Update Date Timestamp will be enabled or displayed.
  5. Click the Save button (diskette icon) in the lower right corner.

Index Summary

This setting is useful to enable or disable Summary on Index page. Here are some steps to customize and some explanations:

  1. Go to Blogger Dashboard and select the Theme menu.
  2. Click the CUSTOMIZE button.
  3. Click Advanced Dropdown, click Default Options Dropdown and Select Index Options.
  4. Look for the Slider setting named Index Summary (Disable | Enable), drag the slider right or left. Here is the explanation:
    • 1px: Disable - Index Post Summary will be disabled or hidden.
    • 2px: Enable - Index Post Summary will be enabled or displayed.
  5. Click the Save button (diskette icon) in the lower right corner.

Index Author

This setting is useful to enable or disable Avatar and Author Name on the Index page. Here are some steps to customize and some explanations:

  1. Go to Blogger Dashboard and select the Theme menu.
  2. Click the CUSTOMIZE button.
  3. Click Advanced Dropdown, click Default Options Dropdown and Select Index Options.
  4. Look for the Slider setting named Index Author (Disable | Name | Name and Avatar), drag the slider right or left. Here is the explanation:
    • 1px: Disable - Index Post Author Avatar and Name will be disabled or hidden.
    • 2px: Name - Index Post Author Name will be enabled or displayed (Without Avatar).
    • 3px: Name and Avatar - Index Post Author Avatar and Name will be enabled or displayed.
  5. Click the Save button (diskette icon) in the lower right corner.

Index Published Timestamp

This setting is useful to enable or disable the Publication Date Timestamp on the Index page. Here are some steps to customize and some explanations:

  1. Go to Blogger Dashboard and select the Theme menu.
  2. Click the CUSTOMIZE button.
  3. Click Advanced Dropdown, click Default Options Dropdown and Select Index Options.
  4. Look for the Slider setting named Index Published Timestamp (Disable | Enable), drag the slider right or left. Here is the explanation:
    • 1px: Disable - Index Post Published Date Timestamp will be disabled or hidden.
    • 2px: Enable - Index Post Published Date Timestamp will be enabled or displayed.
  5. Click the Save button (diskette icon) in the lower right corner.

Index Comments

This setting is useful to enable or disable Comments on Index page. Here are some steps to customize and some explanations:

  3. Click Advanced Dropdown, click Default Options Dropdown and Select Index Options.
  4. Look for the Slider setting named Index Comments (Disable | Enable), drag the slider right or left. Here is the explanation:
    • 1px: Disable - Index Post Comments will be disabled or hidden.
    • 2px: Enable - Index Post Comments will be enabled or displayed.
  5. Click the Save button (diskette icon) in the lower right corner.

Index Post Pagination Style

This setting is useful for changing the style of the pagination button. Here are some steps to customize it:

  1. Go to Blogger Dashboard and select the Theme menu.
  2. Click the CUSTOMIZE button.
  3. Click Advanced Dropdown, click Default Options Dropdown and Select Index Options.
  4. Look for the Slider setting named Index Post Pagination Style (1 | 2), drag the slider right or left.
  5. Click the Save button (diskette icon) in the lower right corner.

Color Settings for Index Pages

There are several color settings for the Index Pages that can be customized, namely:

  • Index Text Color: To set the Text Color.
  • Index Text Hover Color: To set the Text Color when the cursor hovers.
  • Index Meta Color: To set the Meta Text Color.
  • Index Border Color: To set the Border Color.

Here are some steps to customize it:

  1. Go to Blogger Dashboard and select the Theme menu;
  2. Click the CUSTOMIZE button;
  3. Click Advanced Dropdown, click Default Options Dropdown and Select Index Options;
  4. Find a color setting and select the color you want to change;
  5. Click the Save button (diskette icon) in the lower right corner.
