WHAT IS YOGA?
Yoga is a practice that binds together, body, mind and spirit through the use of the
prana-life force-breath. There are many styles of yoga such as Ashtanga, considered the original yoga
by which all yoga styles have developed. Other yoga style practices are: Restorative,
Hatha, Antigravity, Strala, Bikram, Forest etc ...
By following a consistent yoga practice, you can help to release tension from ailments such as:
headaches, back aches, carpal tunnel syndrome, etc ... Yoga has great healing benefits,
but should be done with an awareness to meditation, proper alignment, proper nutrition and breathing
into the postures to release pain, in order to bring healing and decrease the chance of hurting yourself.
